On Thursday 16th October, Street Works UK held the 2025 edition of the Street Works UK Awards. The awards ceremony, sponsored by Virgin Media O2, was held in the Houses of Parliament. Leaders and from the water, gas, electricity, and telecoms sectors alongside contractors and Street Works UK affiliate members came from across the UK for a night of networking, speeches, to celebrate the street works industry’s talent and achievements.
Speakers on the evening included Ruth Cadbury MP, Chair of the House of Commons Transport Select Committee and Donna Morley, Network Expansion and Build Assurance Director at event sponsor Virgin Media O2.
Acknowledging the continued hard work of the organisation’s dedicated members, the awards reflected the sector’s successes whilst highlighting the ongoing challenges the industry faces.
Over 40 submissions were made across the 8 categories.

Street Works UK Conference
With the Street Works Awards 2025 having come to a close, Street Works UK now looks forward to its upcoming annual conference ‘Connecting Communities – Building Better Streets Together’, which is being held this year on Wednesday 12th November 2025 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
The upcoming conference will look at the human side of street works, from the skilled professionals shaping our infrastructure to the communities who benefit from it every day.
